The Montana Chapter of SCI will be donating to the preservation of Montana’s Sage Grouse population.  With the help of a local Boy Scouts of America Troop, the Chapter will help fund projects that have direct impact on the Sage Grouse’s survival.

If you are interested in attending meetings regarding the Montana Sage Grouse Management Plan, below are the dates, times and locations of these meetings.

Below is the schedule for public comment on Montana’s sage grouse plan. Any SCI members out there who may be interested are invited to attend.  We would like to have a good public turn out. Billings is on the 18th if you can make it.

-Dillon:  Nov. 13; 6-8 p.m.  U of M–Western, Mathews Hall, Lewis & Clark ROOM 94

-Billings:  Nov. 18; 6-8 p.m.  FWP Region 5 Headquarters

-Baker:  Nov. 19; 1-3 p.m.  Senior Citizens Center

-Miles City:  Nov. 19; 7-9 p.m.  Miles City Community College, James P. Lucas Bldg.

-Glasgow:  Nov. 20; 6-8 p.m.  Cottonwood Inn

-Malta:  Nov. 21; 12-2 p.m. First State Bank

-Lewistown:  Nov. 21; 6-8 p.m.  FWP Lewistown Area Office
